Our Merch Maker

Scallywag Letterpress is a local small business in Southwest Virginia. The owner, Katy, is both queer and an avid Blues and Swing dancer.

Working with her business to provide merch has been wonderful. Unlike most web services where you provide a design and then order merch ahead of time in bulk or have guaranteed minimums, Scallywag Letterpress is completely risk free. She charges a setup fee but otherwise everything is made after orders are sent, so either you break even on your merch costs or you get a check at the end. There’s no upfront cost, and she works with you on the design to make sure it looks exactly like you want on the final products. She’ll also host your merch on her own website and handle transactions, taking another burden off the organizing body.
